Md. Saidur Rahman has served in various capacities, focusing on community-based human rights and civil rights activities in collaboration with different national and international organizations. He earned his Graduation and Master’s from the University of Dhaka.

Currently, Saidur Rahman holds the position of Member Secretary of the Bangladesh Road Safety Network. He is also serving as Executive Editor of the Road Safety Watch.Com, a specialized online news portal. As a road safety expert, Saidur Rahman is consistently contributing articles, interviews and participating in talk shaws on both national & international media. He possesses strong leadership and management skills with in-depth knowledge of development issues and has played pivotal roles in encouraging civil society and other stakeholders in the country.

Saidur Rahman has received several trainings, including ‘Making Governance Gender Responsive’ organized by Women and Women & ABC, Nepal; ‘Advanced Research Methodology Course’ organized by NAEM-BPDM; ‘Work Improvement in Small Enterprises’ jointly organized by ILO and the European Union; ‘Promoting Decent Work through Improved Migration Policy and its Application in Bangladesh’ jointly organized by ILO and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC); and a Training Workshop on ‘Labor Migration Policy and Legal Frameworks for Trade Unions’ jointly organized by ILO and NCCWE. Additionally, he has attended numerous national and international workshops, seminars, and symposia on women empowerment, youth leadership development, child labor, and good governance.
